Next for Peter Frampton

Peter Frampton has decided to re-visit his past.

He says he’s “re-recording an album’s worth of my music with just me and an acoustic guitar or piano.” He’s been doing this in his Nashville studio, but no word yet on which songs he’s recorded or when it will be released. His last full album was 2010’s Thank You Mr. Churchill, though last year he put out an EP, Hummingbird in a Box: Songs for a Ballet.

Frampton will be on tour this summer on a bill with Cheap Trick. And he will be part of the upcoming ROCK LEGENDS CRUISE IV (2016). This floating rock festival for a cause aboard Royal Caribbean International’s spectacular, Independence of the Seas, departs January 21 – 25, 2016 from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Featuring: Peter Frampton, Gregg Allman, Grand Funk Railroad, America, The Marshall Tucker Band, Ace Frehley, Uriah Heep, Rik Emmett and more.
